University Startups Conference 2008
Send one of your startup-minded investigators to the University Startups Conference. This conference is a meeting ground for universities and venture capital/angel investors. The university co-sponsors are Columbia University and University of Wisconsin-Madison and the government co-sponsors are National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health. The conference lays the ground work for more funding transactions between universities and VC/Angel investors by creating a dealflow pipeline from universities to investors.
For your investigator to be considered you must complete the following requirements:
a) Agree to use the API or Bulk Upload
b) Have your university description up-to-date and completed
c) Have a link from your Web site to the iBridge Network
d) Have current and updated innovations on the iBridge Network
How to apply: Email Katie by August 29th with the following information: The name and title of one researcher who is actively working on an innovation. Their school and department affiliation as well as a description of his/her innovation. Be sure to also include both the nominator and nominee’s email and phone number.

Emerging Technologies Conference (emTech)
We want you to see this! This conference is mainly focused on new technologies and technology becoming companies. EmTech hosts world-renowned innovators and senior business leaders to discuss emerging technologies that will make a huge impact on the world. There are sessions, panels and presentations and you can see them all through a live Webcast.
For your investigator to be considered you must complete the following requirements:

b) Have your university description up-to-date and completed
c) Have a link from your Web site to the iBridge Network
d) Have current and updated innovations on the iBridge Network
